Krimanshi works in the sector of animal nutrition with a novel approach of using unutilized natural resources for raw material to create a product that increases animal productivity without using harmful chemicals like urea etc and increases income of cattle farmers and dairy owners. Fresh surplus from agriculture farms, food joints, and juice shops is processed using native technology and is converted into nutritious cattle feed while the portion that has decayed or is undergoing decomposition is set away to feed insects. We dry and pulverise these high-protein insects after their life-span to make our next in line products poultry feed and fish feed.
Essential to our venture are the scavenger groups who collect food and farm wastes from urban, rural and forest regions and help us process and manufacture feed products. By utilizing agri wastes we save millions of CO2 equivalents in greenhouse gases emissions, which are a major component in climate change, while a well-balanced feed will help curbing GHG emission from dairy sector. We partner with rural NGOs, women groups in villages and farmers produce organizations for collecting raw material and strengthening distribution network.
